CBD Helps Arthritic Dogs – New Study by Cornell University

Hemp and especially its compound CBD is finally getting the accolades it deserves as a medicinal herb. There is much research on it already (i.e. see ‘Project CBD’), and here is another recent study:

Cornell University researchers recently did a study on the effects of CBD oil on dogs with osteoarthritis. Over six weeks, dogs were given either CBD oil or a placebo twice daily in this double-blind study. Dogs who took the CBD showed a clear decrease in pain and increase in activity. Best of all, dog owners reported no side effects in the dogs. This is great news and gives a clear advantage over conventional medication.

If your dog suffers from joint pain, you might consider trying CBD oil. Hemp and its compounds support wellness of the whole body via the endocannabanoid system and can bring relief to many painful conditions.

Chava Naturals offers highest quality CBD oil, specifically formulated for dogs and cats, in liquid form. It is third party laboratory tested to ensure its quality. It does not contain any THC = it doesn’t make your dog ‘high’ and is legal in all 50 states.
